A few years ago, our owner felt called to a new direction, stepping away from the self-employment world to serve in his local church and spend more time focusing on faith, family, and community.

What happened next unexpectedly sparked the beginning of Atridge Dumpsters & Hauling: TikTok and Family.

It all started when the owner’s son sent him a TikTok video featuring a sandwich shop in West Palm Beach, Florida. Not even knowing what TikTok was at the time, he created an account just to watch the video and quickly discovered a whole new world of small businesses, entrepreneurs, and creative ideas from all over the country and beyond.

While searching destinations for an upcoming family trip to Rome and the Mediterranean, he came across a video from a small dump trailer business owner. The idea immediately stood out to him. It was a simple service that helped people get rid of junk, debris, and clutter while helping homeowners and contractors complete their projects more easily.

At the same time, more friends, neighbors, and colleagues were taking on renovation and cleanup projects and needed dependable dumpster and hauling solutions. The need was obvious.

Then came the second inspiration: family. After his daughter got married, the owner started thinking about ways his children could be involved in building something meaningful together. A business where they could work hard, earn income, and serve the community side by side sounded like the perfect fit. The hauling side of the business quickly became something the family was excited about, and everyone was eager to help.

The rest is history.
